READY TO SEASON: Peugeot's salt mills come with Cristaux de sel blanc d'Allemagne, a dry white rock salt from Germany, and their pepper mills with Tan Hoi black pepper from Vietnam (refill cubes are available from Peugeot). Fill with dry rock salt only (max size smaller than 1/6 inch/4mm) — do not use sea salt, and max size ¼-inch (6mm) peppercorns.

MILLED STEEL: The Elis Sense mills' mechanisms are made in France from case hardened steel and stainless steel.
